WW1 US Officer Signals Colonel Overseas Cap

WW1 US private purchase overseas cap to an officer of the Signals with the rank of Colonel.
In khaki ribbed twill the cap has copper coloured piping for Signals with Colonel rank device to left side. Interior is in quality patterned sateen with full sweatband to lining. Particular to this private purchase officers' example is the pop stud fastener to the crease of the crown.
Overall very good condition with a very minor moth track to right side at the top of the scallop skirt.
