WW2 German Thick Tan ' Italian' Camouflage Paint M40 Helmet

An M40 army combat helmet with thick tan camouflage paint from the Italian campaign .
Helmet shows its factory army green to underside & interior with this thick sprayed tan to outside which ahs now aged down to a darker shade . There is much evidence of heavy wear with scuffs & surface age crackling to the paint throughout. Minor rust bleed is coming through from underneath the damaged areas of paint in places with some darker patches I believe caused by damp over the years. Interior of helmet is heavily used with some apparent dark staining in places . All of the liner pins have matching camouflage paint having been with this helmet since wartime.
