WW2 British Army Woolen Cap Comforter/Scarf

British army woolen cap comforter especially used by Commandos & other Special Forces units who did not wear helmets.
These could also be worn as a scarf when folded down. In excellent unmothed condition this piece has faint ink markings with a broad arrow , the maker name ' MILNERS LTD ' & a date which I cannot make out .
