WW2 French '1940 Battle For France' M26 Infantry Adrian Helmet
A good M26 French infantry combat helmet with 'RF' embossed flaming grenade badge to front for infantry troops. This is the exact type of helmet worn by French troops in 1940 during the Battle For France.
This helmet has much of its original green/khaki factory paint to exterior of shell with both top comb & badge still firmly affixed. The brown leather chinstrap is totally original to the helmet with brass keeper stud & black painted buckle. The black multi piece liner is intact. There are what appear to be a pair of initials to underside of rim.
A very good textbook example.
