WW2 British Army Ankle Boots 1942

A very well used pair of 1942 dated British army ankle boots which were recently discovered during a lockdown clearout.
Both are still good & supple one with what looks to be the original leather lace & the other with an old but later replacement . I have made no no attempt to clean them & as such they are filthy! The size marking & date of '7M 1942' is visible to both. There is also a faint London maker name.
Both have later replaced heels marked ' Sussex 60 ' & there are no studs but still good for a mannequin display .
