WW2 Belgian M31 Adrian Helmet
A scarce Belgian M31 combat helmet this was the standard issue helmet used by Belgian forces in WW2 .
Derived from the French M26 model these Belgian made versions were introduced as of 1931 & are distinctive having a slightly larger brim. Helmet was first painted in its smooth factory green paint but then overpainted in the more camouflage rough dark green of the early war period. The Belgian lion insignia to the front is 100% original to the helmet & still firmly affixed in place along with the top comb. The black leather liner is in undamaged condition with all of of its tongues & drawstring. Helmet liner has bracket fixings to front & back . The original brown leather chinstrap is intact & with iron buckle.
