WW1 British Webbing Gas Mask Bag Conversion

A British WW1 webbing gas mask bag officially converted from the mounted troops haversack for issue to troops serving in the field.
Dating from the 1916/17 period these were issued at some time between the switch over from the Gas helmet to the large box respirator & with snap fasteners allowed it to be ripped open for fast access in the event of an attack.
Broad arrow marked to inside flap & a service used piece.
