WW1 US 3rd Infantry Division M17 Brodie Helmet

A fabulous WW1 US Brodie helmet with blue & white striped divisional insignia of the 3rd Infantry Division.
This helmet is a US produced example made from 1917 onwards with instantly recognisable US produced chinstrap bracket rivets to underside of rim. Camouflage painted in a thick granulated sand mixed finish around the blue & white insignia of the Division it has a perfectly intact liner with underlying string net system in good order. Leather chinstrap has survived exceptionally well & is still supple .
