WW1 German Wurttemburg Artillery Reserve Officer Helmet

A fabulous officers helmet of the Wurttemburg Artillery reserve in excellent condition.
All of the fittings retain a high proportion of their gilt brass finish with frontplate , visor trim & convex chinscales in excellent order. The officer rosettes are distinctive & correct for Wurttemburg . The removeable balltop has mounting plate with officer style perlring all secure & totally original to the helmet. The silvered cross mounted to front plate denotes Reservist. Interior of helmet has red twill lining matching the underside of the rear peak with brown leather sweatband intact.
Some very light wear overall & a fabulous Artillery piece of First World War Germany .
