WW2 British ' Blitz' Period Senior Rank ' Police ' Helmet 1939
A double rank banded British Police helmet denoting senior rank with 1939 dated chinstrap.
Helmet has traces of what appear to be its original dark blue paint with ' POLICE' designation to front.
Very faint illegible markings appear to underside of rim with 1939 date to liner cradle.
