WW2 British Airborne/Commando Everest Carrier 1943 Dated

WW2 British Airborne "Everest Carrier" carrying frame.
These were used by Airborne & Commando forces for carrying heavy equipment such as ammunition boxes etc & can be seen in period photographs being used on combat operations. These were often worn as backpack however could be used on the Airborne bicycle. Dated "1943" with War Department broad arrow it is in excellent condition.
