WW2 US M3 Fighting Knife

Excellent example of the popular American M3 fighting knife first issued in March 1943 & used largely by American Airborne forces & Army Rangers due to its close combat effectiveness.
This example is made by Imperial Knife Co. & shows light service wear to handle with leather rings of grip still firm & in place. The marking ' USM3 IMPERIAL' is visible to crossguard with flaming grenade ordnance mark to top of grip. Blade is good with age spotting . Scabbard is correctly 'USM8 B.M.CO' marked with hilt retaining strap & belt hook intact.
A very nice example of this classic US combat knife.
