Rare British Royal Marines Mk1* Helmet 1937

Rare early British Mk1* helmet with insignia to left side of the Royal Marines.
Finished in its rough khaki paint finish the RM flash is still mostly present with overall chips & scuffs to outer shell. There is some paint crackling to outer brim with rim now minus. Liner screw is undisturbed. Factory marking to underside of brim partially legible as 'FS /' with ' HELMETS LTD 1937' visible to liner cradle arm. Web chinstrap intact.
