Private purchase French officers forage cap of the M1891/15 style in fine light blue cloth with black piping for engineers & a double gold rank braid to front for Lieutenant. Interior has leather sweatband with the faint ink stamp of the French collection that this cap previously belonged to .
Although having moth holes it is an untouched piece from the French army of WW1 .
