A Recently Surfaced WW2 German Messtin & Strap

Coming recently from France this 1939 dated German aluminium messtin was found with its original messtin strap still buckled around it.
Much of its original green factory paint still remains with maker initials & date '39' visible to lid. Messtin body marked & '37' dated. When one carefully unbuckles the strap its outline is imprinted onto the tin & likewise onto leather after many years of
being around it. A painted number '9' is visible to the lid of the tin when the strap is lifted back.
