WW2 French Army 'Fall of France' M26 Adrian Helmet
A recently surfaced French M26 Infantry Adrian helmet typical of those worn by the French soldier during the Battle For France in the summer of 1940.
Totally untouched & just as it was found this helmet was hanging up in a house for many years & still has the string tied to its chinstrap loops. With a very good amount of its original factory khaki green paint to inside & out the helmet shows combat wear with a small dent to its front left side & some paint loss to top comb with one rivet minus. Interior still has its multi construction sheepskin leather liner although quite stiff so I am unable to inspect for markings to crown & tongues.
