WW2 German Panzer Officers Peaked Cap

A quite stunning private purchase Panzer officers peaked cap by the Clemens Wagner .
Constructed in high quality doeskin wool it has a distinctive saddle shape with pink piping for Armoured units . Inner lining of the crown is in a golden yellow coloured silk with underside of the peak in light tan. Underneath the celluloid diamond is the Clemens Wagner ' Meister Klasse ' (Fine Tailoring) ' logo with the name ' Hildebrandt , Eschwege' being the tailor who made the cap. Cap insignia is of the post 1936 metal oak leaf wreath with cockade & corresponding eagle firm to the cap.
Overall a fabulous cap , very hard to find like this in todays market.
