WW1 British Adrian Model 1915 Private Purchase Helmet

A private purchase French Adrian helmet as was available for purchase by British officers before the introduction of the Brodie.
Helmet has much of its original blue paint remaining to interior & exterior of helmet with a khaki over paint applied to the exterior in a very typical British helmet colour. To the interior is a British private purchase liner with padded bronw cloth headband & brown leather uppersection. Chinstrap present very similar to the French Kepi style & totally original to the helmet.
