WW1 German Fur Pack 1915

A WW1 German fur pack originally of the 1888 model with 1915 shoulder strap & regimental markings .
Used well into the First World War by the German soldier various models exist this being one of the earliest. An interesting piece it has been civilian used after WW1 & although with one replacement hook to the bottom it remains virtually as it would have been used in the trenches. A very high proportion of its original fur is intact to front & back with what may well be a wartime replacement of one of the shoulder straps as they differ slightly. One of the straps bears a Berlin maker mark with date 1915 & the regimental stamp of ' BAG 3 G.R.'.
