WW2 German Rural Police Shako

Classic example of the WW2 German police shako with brown leather fittings for rural police.
Overall an excellent piece the police badge to front still showing excellent definition with an undamaged brown chinstrap both front & rear peaks firm. Cockade is an Assman produced piece marked ' FW Assmann & Sohn , Ludenscheid. Interior of helmet bears maker logo of Hans Romer .
A stunning display piece there are a couple of scratches to its brown top with two moth nips to the right side of the green felt & also some minor tracking to the same side. The soft leather liner has suffered a couple of tears but is stable from any further damage.
