WW2 British Royal Tank Regiment Helmet 1939

One of the rarest of the early British WW2 decalled helmets this 1939 dated MkII helmet has the ' Fear Naught' decal of the Royal Tank Regiment to the front of it.
Helmet has been finished in a very rough granulated khaki paint to the exterior with RTR decal applied directly to the front as is typical of early helmet insignia. Interior has maker mark of ' ROCO ' to underside of rim for the firm Rubery Owens with date 1939. Liner cradle also bears the faint date 1939. Web chinstrap intact .
A very rare helmet unlikely to be encountered again.
