WW1 Russian Sohlberg Model 1917 Helmet

A scarce example of the Russian Model 1917 Sohlberg helmet which was intended by the Tsar to replace the Adrian & be the new standard Russian helmet.
A proportion of the Sohlberg helmets were manufactured in Russian controlled Finland these being identifiable by the more pointed star design of the rosette on top of the helmet . Finished in matt green paint with leather chinstrap intact & full canvas lining to interior.
