WW1 French Engineer Officers Tunic

A fabulous WW1 French Engineer Officers tunic with its original black tabbed Engineers insignia to collar & all original Engineers embossed buttons.
This tunic is in the 1913 style & one of the first of the Horizon blue officer cuts. This piece displays straight pocket flaps & a full turndown collar as well as a pique back & integral half belt to rear. There is also a slit for a sword hanger . To the sleeve are his overseas service chevrons with single rank braid to each cuff denoting rank of Lieutenant. Interior of tunic has blue satin full lining .
Not without moth , the general condition of this Great War uniform item is overall excellent for a tunic of the early war period. There are a few holes & some nips , please see photographs .
