WW1 Princess Alexandra Gift Tin 1914

WW1 1914 gift tin from Queen Alexandra with card of her affixed to top of tin above a printed inscription.
Originally containing 18 cigarettes each printed with the name Alexandra these are long gone however surviving examples of the tin are much rarer than there Princess Mary counterpart. .
Inscription on bottom of card reads : 'XMAS 1914 With best wishes from Alexandra BY PERMISSION OF W. & D. DOWNEY ' .
