WW2 British MkII Helmet 1939/40

A classic textbook MkII British army helmet with original rough textured khaki paint to exterior & smooth paint to underside.
Typical of those used in action by British troops one can still see the imprint of a net to the outside . When one examines the underside of the rim the maker name & date of 'F&L1940' can be seen for the firm Fisher & Ludlow. The rexene liner remains intact with web chinstrap still retaining elasticity.
