Early WW1 British War Office Pattern 34th Division Helmet

A recently surfaced early British helmet of the War Office pattern with black & white checkered insignia to front of the 34th Division.
Distinctive with its early shape raw edge & thin chinstrap bales it has parts of its green paint finish still visible in places .
A heavily used helmet there is a good proportion of the 34th Div insignia remaining to front with rust age to the entirety of the helmet.
