WW2 German Rural Police Shako

Classic example of the WW2 German police shako with brown leather fittings for rural police.
Overall an excellent piece the police badge to front still showing excellent definition with an undamaged brown chinstrap & both front & rear peaks firm. Cockade is a 1938 dated 'Dicke, Ludenscheid' produced piece marked 'DRGM'. Interior of helmet bears the Berlin maker logo of Robert Lubstein (Erel) . Interior of helmet is faultless with an undamaged leather liner still having tightening cord intact.
A stunning display piece there is some typical crackling to brown top with a couple of tiny pin prick moth nips to felt under the chinstrap ( hidden ).
