WW1 French Musette Bag , Bandage , Cigarette Papers & Boot Dubbin
A French M1892 pattern musette bag with some personal contents as sometimes carried by the French soldier.
The bag is of the typical off white canvas with early inspection stamp to rear which is difficult to read although may well be 1915. Buttons are replacements as is typical . The yellow tin is a commercially produced tin of boot dubbin for use with sports or work boots & the dressing is Paris made & typical of the period. Finally the cigarette papers ' Papier Coudron La ' compliment the group nicely.
