WW2 German M42 Single Decal Army Helmet
A textbook single decal M42 army helmet complete with intact liner & chinstrap.
This 'timecapsule' German helmet has the classic smooth wing ET decal which is largely intact along with the slate grey factory paint to the entirety of the helmet. All three of its liner pins are original to the helmet with a zinc liner band to interior & 'ET62' maker to underside of rim. The lot number ' 2392' is visible to rear. Leather liner shows service wear with original tightening cord intact. The black leather chinstrap has a grey painted steel buckle to short end & appears to be unmarked.
Superb piece , not often found in todays market.
