WW2 German Army Green Painted Steel Buckle & Belt , Always Been Together
A 'sleeper' German army belt & buckle which was found together all as worn by the German soldier .
The green painted steel buckle is leather tabbed with 1939 date & maker name of 'R.S & S' (Richard Seiper & Sohn). Mounted onto a size '97' impressed belt leather which is marked to 'SINGER' with 1941 date. The green paint of the buckle matches that of the hook on the belt leather. In excellent condition with some minor surface age to buckle it has always been very difficult to find such uninterfered with homogenous belt rigs such as this.
