WW2 British Royal Armoured Corps Helmet From Normandy (1943 Dated )
An untouched British tank helmet found in an outbuilding in Normandy some years ago with remains of the Royal Armoured Corps flash to one side.
A veteran of one of the famous tank battles this helmet at one time had dual RAC flashes to each side with it only being visible now on one side . Dated 1943 to the liner it is also marked to the British helmet manufacturer 'BMB' Briggs Motor Bodies. An early issue AFV helmet with early pattern of chinstrap as was in wear by tank crews during the Normandy campaign.
With all the dirt & cobwebs that it has accumulated from years of languish in a dark corner this helmet oozes history that we will sadly never know the full story behind.
