WW2 British Ankle Boots 1942 ( Mannequin Used )

A very good large sized pair of British army ankle boots with 1942 date & their original leather laces.
These boots have had a hole put through one of the soles as they were at one time on a mannequin which had , as most did, a stand incorporated into one of its legs.
Clearly a matching pair & with date 1942 the size '9L' is visible . This pair have flat soles with no hobnails as is usually associated with crews or drivers.
