WW2 British Home Guard Netted Camouflage Helmet 1941
A British double netted camouflage helmet this being the 'MKII 2C' with three holes drilled into the rim to denote a lesser ballistic resistance than the standard MkII issue.
A totally untouched piece the owner has applied two camouflage nets , one on top of the other to enhance its camouflage effect. Beneath this can be seen the helmets original rough khaki paint finish to inside & out with BMB maker ( Briggs Motor Bodies ) & 1941 date to rim. Liner is in good order with top nut firm & undisturbed . Chinstrap is of the midwar one piece MkIII issue .
