WW2 British Home Guard Denim Battledress

Privately tailored denim battledress blouse with Hobson & Sons tailors label having had leather football style buttons attached, size alterations & a rank chevron & Home Guard armband stitched to the arms. It has also stiffeners put onto the inside edges of the collar. There is also a WW1 medal ribbon bar showing entitlement to British War & Victory medal. Whistle on lanyard to left arm as was on the blouse when obtained.
Certainly an interesting Home Guard blouse altered according to the wearers individual preference. It is of note that Hobson
& Sons are a well known tailor of military uniforms & still in existence today.
