Rare WW2 British Bombay Bloomers 1940

Exceptionally rare 1940 dated pair of 'Bombay Bloomers ' .
These are the rare early WWII version of the KD shorts with long legs that buttoned up to form shorts for the daytime. Worn by troops in India & the Far East they gained the nickname 'Bombay Bloomers' due to their rather baggy shorts appearance.,
Found to be inadequate in the jungles of Malaya & Burma they were replaced in 1942 by the Jungle Green uniform & subsequently are very hard to find today.
This pair are Indian made for issue to British troops with clear 1940 date & are an approx 26 inch waist when fastened right up . ( Size is not guaranteed ).
