WW2 German M42 Helmet With Chinstrap

I am quite rightly often berated for using the expression 'timecapsule' however when I encounter a helmet such as this there are no better words !
Straight from the attic this German M42 helmet is untouched & in its original factory grey paint which mostly remains. Markings are to underside of skirt at rear although the maker & size (64) are very typically badly stamped with only the lot number being legible. All three of the liner pins are totally undisturbed & original to the helmet with liner band still tight & the leather liner totally correct for the M42 issue. Coming complete with its chinstrap still intact one will note the manufacturer name & 1940 date still visible to end .
