WW2 German Infantry Officers Peaked Cap By 'Pekuro' ( Peter Kupper )

A classic private purchase German infantry officers peaked cap by the sought after quality cap maker Peter Kupper whose trademark was ' Pekuro ' .
Made of fine doeskin material caps have the feature of a black velvet insert below the cap band & patterned perforations on the sweatband. There is white piping for infantry & officers bullion chincord. Interior bears its celluloid label with 'Pekuro' maker name & 'Stirndruckfrei Deutches ReichsPatent ' . ' Stirndruckfrei ' was a system which reduced forehead pressure for the wearer & is only found in higher quality caps.
Overall very good condition with some minor moth nips to piping & top of cap with overall service wear.
