WW1 German Entrenching Tool & Carrier

WW1 German 1909 pattern straight shovel carrier & shovel carried as part of the German soldiers combat equipment in the trenches of WW1.
Shovel is a very early manufacture with partial markings 'HERMANN DAN** 1903 '. Shovel carrier is in black leather with maker markings of 'FISCHER,BERLIN ' There is a date but very difficult to discern. All stitching firm with no breaks to leather.
