WW2 RAF Officers Peaked Cap

A WW2 British RAF officers peaked cap as worn by the ranks of Pilot Officer to Wing Commander .
In a very attractive wartime worn condition this fabulous cap has the classic green underside to peak predating it to before 1944 with a late war economy officers cap badge affixed to the front. The interior lining has intact leather sweatband with a quality diamond quilting & padded forehead protector . A cap that has clearly seen considerable wartime service there is a long builtup thumb mark to underside of peak with some wear to nap of cloth & only just one tiny moth hole to top of cap.
