WW2 German Army M43 Cap
Classic field cap of the German army from 1943 onwards & a very difficult item of standard headdress to find today.
Cap shows a good amount of period wear with a nice jaunty appearance that would sit well on a head for mannequin display. The Bevo trapezoid insignia is correctly machine applied & in my opinion is original to the cap. Both of its original green painted pebbled buttons are present to front fastening. Interior has a good rayon artificial silk lining with ink stamped RB Number & size stamp '58'. date is 1944 this shown by the Berlin inspection stamp of 'B44' .
