A fascinating artefact from the 1982 Falklands campaign being a British fighter pilots map of the Falkland Islands taken from the cockpit of a Harrier jet at the end of the conflict.
Many well known places can be seen on this flight map notably Mount Longdon & Port Stanley as well as locations of Albatross Radar stations & various other logistical sites which were of vital importance to the pilot. Many hand drawn annotations & intel related markings adorn this map which was no doubt in use during the height of the conflict.
