A German Kriegsmarine marked K98 bayonet frog dated 1940 & with maker name 'Franz Brehme , Walsrode' . The owner has scratched his name onto the rear ' Fritz Reichardt ' with Naval service number beginning with an N . The upper eagle & swastika part of the KM issue stamp is clearly visible.
