WW2 German M34 Tornister Pack 1940

This is the earlier M34 version of fur covered 'Tornister' pack with integral equipment support straps .
This pattern was designed before equipment Y straps were general issue & so the support straps were a necessity. The later M39 version was identical but with the integral straps replaced by D rings only .This version was still used by those to whom Y straps were not issued.
An uncommonly good example it has good supple leather with all buckles , hooks & D rings complete. Marked to the rear 'Ehrhardt & Kirste, Rauche ' with date '1940' . Both straps have a matching 'Wien' maker name & 1940 date.
