Named WW2 USMC Ka-Bar Fighting Knife- Soldier Art Decorated
An excellent early production example of the USMC issue Ka-Bar fighting knife which has been decorated by the Marine with his name & a raunchy depiction of a scantily clad woman with the name ' Fruity' etched into the leather of the sheath.
Marked 'USMC' to one side of the ricasso with Union Manufacturer marking 'KA-BAR OLEAN. N.Y.' to the other. It is in excellent condition with undamaged grip incorporating red black spacers below the pommel. .Bowie blade is early blued rather than the later parkerised. The leather sheath comes with snap fastened hilt retaining strap intact.
