WW2 German K98 Dress Bayonet- Gustav Klemme

WW2 German K98 Dress bayonet marked to ricasso Gustav Klemme' of Herford and on the reverse "Solingen" beautifully executed. Plating good with the tip of its 25cm blade coming to a perfectly sharp point . Good tight fit to scabbard. The brown leather buffer pad remains intact at top of blade. Blade still very bright & clean. Pommel catch working . Scabbard retains its throat screw with frog stud firm. Some minor rust patina over its black paint not detracting. Black checkered bakelite grip plates are in near perfect condition. Both plates are tightly secured to the hilt with green felt to mortise slot to mortise slot.
