WW2 German Army Greatcoat With Large Collar 1942

A very good example of the sought after 1942 pattern of German greatcoat with large collar introduced as of 1942 . This was in answer to the freezing Russian winters where German soldiers were found to be inadequately equipped & better protection was needed for the neck & head.
Greatcoat has all of its correct pebbled buttons to double front fly & also to shoulders for shoulder straps.
Rayon lining to inside with ink stamp giving maker & also the correct dice size markings. The depot & date as well as clothing grade are denoted by the marking ' M42/1 ' .
Overall an excellent piece from the German combat soldier with no unsightly moth or damage .
