WW2 German Webbing A Frame

The early war German 'A frame' made of stiffened webbing & leather & very much seen in use by German combat troops of WW2. This was designed as a battle pack for attaching the zeltbahn , messkit & battle pack bag but due to impracticality was later replaced by the various forms of rucksack then in use.
A superb example with much paint remaining to grey painted metal hooks & suppleness to leather straps.
Faint ink markings to lower web portion.
A superb original example there being many copies in the marketplace today.
