WW1 Kings (Liverpool Scottish) Glengarry

WW1 Glengarry of the Kings (Liverpool Scottish ) . Service in WW1 was extensive being one of the first territorial battalions to arrive on the Western Front when it deployed in 1914 . Their first battle was at Bellewaarde on 16th June 1915.
Glengarry has integrally woven tartan band with leather edging both features totally correct for the period. Badge is totally original to the cap with lining showing moderate period wear. Wool body good with a couple of very small moth nips only noticeable upon close examination.
