WW1 French Named M15 Chasseur Adrian Helmet
A named WW1 French M15 Adrian helmet of Chasseurs. The Chausseurs were light infantry troops with a very good track record throughout French military history. The owners name has ben neatly handwritten to underside of front peak & also to liner.
Much of the original factory blue paint remains with badge firmly affixed to the front. Interior of the helmet has a second model multi construction liner which was produced from 1916 onwards to save on leather. Its corrugated ventilation strips can still be seen at the sides & early chinstrap intact .
