WW2 British MkIII 'Turtle' Helmet With Two Tone Canadian Camouflage Net 1944
A superb textbook example of the high rivet MkIII ' Turtle ' helmet as issued to assault formations of the 21st Army Group just prior to the Normandy invasion & seen in wear on the beaches of D-Day on the 6th June 1944.
Finished in rough textured khaki brown paint the liner is clearly BMB maker marked with date '1944' . Chinstrap intact. Fitted with two tone ( Green & brown ) Canadian camouflage net & overall textbook example.
It is incredibly difficult to find correct '44 liner dated examples of these helmets today.
